  14. Visited a friend on the weekend who just received his LW4.0 pre-release.

  18. We switched on preview image in the dinky window and part of the
  19. reason its slow is obvious. [example. Frame 65 of the blade scene
  20. on the CDROM rendered in medium anti-alias the lens flares are 
  21. calculated again and again for every single one of the 9 rendering 
  22. and anti-aliasing pases.]

  24. If things only got rendered once think how much faster
  25. anti-aliased rendering would be... WOW!
